Hadleigh Maid Walnut Whirls Featured in the Guardian
It was great to read that our Walnut Whirls had been featured in the Guardian online over the summer. The article entitled "Notes on chocolate: a new spin on the walnut whip" was written by Guardian reporter Annalisa Barbieri.
She referred to our classic walnut whirls as dreamy old-school treats.
"A dreamy old-school treat..."
"More a dessert than chocolate..."
Our walnut whirls are a huge part of the Hadleigh Maid range, inspired by a love of chocolate and a love of the traditional walnut whip of the 1970's and 1980's. They boast a hefty 50g each of delicious chocolate and mallow or truffle filling still with a walnut crowning each of the whirls.
There are a total of 11 in our range available in milk chocolate, dark chocolate and vegan-friendly varieties.
As with all of our products, we are working towards total biodegradable packaging and we are proud to say that Walnut Whirls were one of the first ranges to be repackaged as biodegradable.
We have a great treat coming up for all those whirl fans around Christmas so stay in touch with us to hear first.
